Reflection on Fruitvale

It was easier to interviewing people out here in Oakland because they know the city better because they live here and people were kind and they were helpful to us. Because in Walnut Creek the people were scared like if we were going to rob them. Because in Oakland allot of people know you and in Walnut Creek you don't know any one out there. Something new I learned from Fruitvale is that I did not know allot of people were concerned bout there safety and how Fruitvale and International blvd is a new target zone to rob people's business that the police don't care about people in Oakland they always try to ignore something that happens. So the lady we interviewed told us that in Walnut Creek the police come right away. The positive side that Fruitvale has is that all the people that work threw there is that they all work together to try and fight crime. Mostly all of the workers all have security guards. The most interesting one was we went to the fire station no.13 and they were real nice to us they even offered us soda's they answered our question's with out yes or no so they really answered the questions even stuff that I did not even know about Oakland so they told us that the news cast just wants to get the negative side of Oakland they want to make San Francisco look better but they do almost all the bad stuff they do in Oakland. They should look at the positive side of Oakland because they just want it to look like one of the bad cities in the bay area.
